Exceptional training starts with an award winning faculty. Love, laughter, and learning is the norm for students just starting their dance training as well as those with exceptional technique and ability. Personal caring instruction with innovative classes for young children to classes offered to prepare dancers for the professional level, our teachers are highly dedicated in helping each child progress and reach their potential.
Debbie Lombardo-Wehlan
Ms. Debbie has created and run one of the top studios in the state of Maryland for over 37 years. She is an award winning choreographer, teacher, producer, & adjudicator for state and national scholarship programs. Her professional credits include publication in four National periodicals including DANCE MAGAZINE, DANCE PAGES, & DANCE TEACHER; awards for “Best Choreography”, “Best of Show”, “Best Jazz Entry”, “Best Variety Entry”, “Best Partnering”, & Highest Overall Competition Scores; National TV Commercial; Recognition by the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts and New York City Dance Alliance, and Master’s certification in dance.
Her students have performed in 4 Tony award winning Broadway Shows, 6 Broadway tours, earned over 80 US National titles in Petite, Junior, Teen, Senior divisions; performed at the Egyptian Embassy, Lyric Opera House, the Orange Bowl, & Broadway Dance Center: in International Touring Productions, in Films and on TV, and with the Trans Siberian Orchestra; Modeled for national dancewear & costume catalogs; performed for “Star Search”, have received numerous scholarships to prestigious schools for the performing arts including Oklahoma City University & London; and are successful professionals in various careers around the world.
Her D’Ann Danse Company has performed numerous times for Disneyland, Disney World, & Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. For 17 years D’Ann Danse Studios holds the prestigious honor of being selected to represent the state of Maryland at the international festival DANCE EXCELLENCE held in Los Angles. DANCE EXCELLENCE selects one studio from each state and 45 different countries to participate in an exciting week long festival of performance classes, & International dance adjudication.

Hyo Kim
Training at the Korean National Ballet Theatre is one of the highlights of Miss Hyo’s extensive years of study. Although she is trained in all dance styles, Ballet and Contemporary dance are her favorites.
From our littlest 2 year olds to our senior company, our danse family has fallen in love with her sweet personality and artistic teaching style.
Maari Lowe
Miss Maari started her dance journey started at 2 years old, and has loved it ever since. Although she’s trained in all styles of dance for nearly her whole life, her favorite styles are lyrical and jazz. Miss Maari grew up performing and competing. She enjoys nothing more than showing her passion on stage.
Her favorite part of dance has always been being able to create a story demonstrating emotions with movement, rather than just with words. She has been teaching dance since 2019, and has loved every minute of it! Our young dancers love her too.

Ms. Amber has performed for cultural events sponsored by the Egyptian Embassy in addition to other venues across Delmarva.
As one of our most loved teachers, she brings an elegant style and soulful energy to our adult and youth programs.
Her sweet humor and love for dance is infectious.
